Missouri State University-West Plains seeks adjunct faculty to teach General Education and Preprofessional Studies courses at the West Plains Campus. Faculty will teach assigned course(s), grade student work promptly, and assist students with course-related matters while adhering to attendance and grade deadlines.
Presenters may teach in person or via online formats; adjunct appointments are semester-based, and hours depend on current regulations.

Description of Primary Duties
Missouri State University-West Plains seeks adjunct faculty to teach courses within the General Education and Preprofessional Studies division:
Classes may be scheduled during the day or evening hours and may be seated, online, blended, or interactive video.
Adjunct faculty members are appointed on a semester basis only. The hours which adjunct faculty are allowed to teach each semester are determined by current regulations. Consult with the office of academic affairs to determine the number of hours allowed.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Adjunct Faculty should possess a master’s degree or the equivalent professional experience in a field determined acceptable by the Dean. Bachelor’s degree may be acceptable in certain subject areas as determined by the Dean.
