Job summary

MACC invites qualified candidates to join as Part-Time Teaching Faculty in Pastoral Theology and Ministry. The successful candidate will teach one or more courses related to contemporary ministry in the Roman Catholic tradition, with assignments for AY 2026-2027 including Homiletics, Intercultural Competencies, Systematics, Hispanic Ministry, and Scripture.

Adjunct faculty are hired per course during Fall and Spring terms, with a maximum of 6 credit-hours per semester.

Qualifications

• Master of Divinity or equivalent with at least 18 graduate hours in Theology and/or Ministry.
• Ph.D., D.Min., or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of undergraduate teaching experience and evidence of student evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement curriculum for assigned course(s) under the Academic Dean.
• Teach effectively in online or face-to-face environments and align with course outcomes.
• Prepare and grade exams and provide timely feedback to students.
• Maintain student records and submit grades according to schedule.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities.
