Job summary

Touro University Nevada is seeking an Physician Assistant Studies Adjunct Faculty to teach and evaluate the program's didactic and clinical components. This non-exempt role is paid per course or lecture and works under the supervision of the Program Director.

Responsibilities include direct instruction, evaluating student performance, and participating in faculty activities and potential community outreach. Prior clinical and teaching experience is valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Masters prepared PA-C or MD/DO.
• Current PA national certification and eligibility for licensure in NV.
• Current MD/DO board certification and eligibility for licensure in NV.
• Three years of clinical experience and previous education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide student instruction in assigned courses.
• Develop and evaluate student performance in both the didactic and clinical phase.
• Some teaching assignments may exist in a courses where the faculty member is not a primary instructor (e.g. labs, OSCEs, clinical year curriculum).
• Participate in all aspects of the self-study process.
• Counsel and advise students.
• Participate in faculty directed activities integral to the university system.
• May participate in community outreach.
