The University of Rochester School of Nursing is seeking adjunct laboratory instructors for our pre-licensure nursing programs. This includes health assessment and medical-surgical nursing labs. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a RN license, and relevant practice experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current NYS licensure.
• Demonstrated record of clinical excellence.
• Superior interpersonal skills required.
• Post-offer health assessment required.
• Complete all agency requirements for clinical faculty compliance and credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of students in labs and/or clinical settings for pre-licensure programs.
• Participate in required course-related meetings, program faculty meetings, and faculty committees as needed.
• Assist in student clinical assessments and grading assignments.
• Serve as a resource/advisor/mentor for students.
