Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN license in the applicable state.
• MSN degree required; BSN may be considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development using assessment and evaluation strategies.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Evaluate student learning and program outcomes in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
• Ensure instruction complies with state board of nursing rules and accrediting bodies.
• Use diverse teaching strategies to meet learner needs and outcomes.
• Contribute to program assessments promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Engage in professional development to enhance faculty effectiveness.
• Maintain current professional practice knowledge in nursing education.
• Support Galen College of Nursing’s mission and values.
• Fulfill other essential responsibilities as outlined by the state board of nursing.
