Qualifications

• Master’s in Music, Music Education, or related field with 18+ credit hours in music.
• Experience teaching at the community college or post-secondary level preferred.
• Online teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and maintain a classroom environment conducive to student learning.
• Encourage development of critical thinking through assignments.
• Maintain currency in the discipline with innovative instructional techniques.
• Collaborate with lead instructor on syllabi, objectives, and assessments.
• Communicate with students via the campus web portal and college email/voicemail.
• Refer students to Counseling or Student Support Services when needed.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
