College of Western Idaho in Nampa, Idaho invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach microbiology labs. Labs will be conducted in traditional classrooms and online, with evening sessions.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred) and experience teaching microbiology or anatomy & physiology labs; familiarity with distance learning and instructional technology is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; microbiology or anatomy & physiology experience
• Master’s degree preferred
• Experience teaching microbiology or anatomy & physiology labs at the post-secondary level preferred
• Ability to use diverse teaching methodologies including distance learning and technology

Responsabilités

• Teaches contracted credit load of courses in accordance with the descriptions published in the CWI catalog
• Utilizes outcomes assessment measures
• Participates in instructional evaluation processes
• Meets all scheduled classes promptly with any deviation filed promptly and accurately
• Monitors student placement in courses and student progress; maintains accurate records
• Performs other duties as assigned
