Job summary

Lanier Technical College in Georgia seeks an Adjunct Microbiology Instructor to teach courses across campus locations. The position is part-time, non-benefits eligible, and requires instruction per syllabus, curriculum development, and student assessment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Microbiology or equivalent with 18 graduate hours in Microbiology.
• Experience teaching in a postsecondary environment is preferred.
• Experience with online instruction is a plus.
• Ability to work with diverse adult learners and meet course objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction based on approved course syllabus.
• Prepares curriculum and syllabus for coursework.
• Evaluates student progress and assigns grades.
• Administers and grades examinations; maintains student records.
• Attends in-service training, workshops, and seminars as needed.
• Ensures safety and security requirements in the training areas; meets deadlines.
