Job description

About This Position

This individual will teach college level Math courses within the School of Technology, Arts, Sciences and Health.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university; or a master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in a related discipline.
  • Three years of teaching experience in higher education preferred.
  • Proven history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
Certifications, Registrations, And/or Licenses
  • A valid Oklahoma driver’s license will be required if performing the functions of the position requires the use of a personal or university vehicle.
Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.
  • Must be a strong advocate for integrating technology into the delivery of instruction.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and human relations.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and resolve conflicts as necessary.
  • Must exhibit characteristics of a team player.
  • Must be willing to take initiative and assume responsibility.
  • Instruction may consist of day and/or night classes, or distance learning.
