Job summary

The University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development invites applications for temporary, non-tenured teaching specialist or lecturer positions in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development. These per-course appointments may be made semester by semester, and are used to establish a pool of instructors for the academic year.

Applications are reviewed as openings occur.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher relevant to the teaching assignment.
• Doctorate or terminal degree relevant to the teaching assignment for Lecturer appointments.
• Ability to develop and deliver courses for diverse backgrounds, communities, identities, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach a course per semester at undergraduate or graduate level on topics such as Comparative and International Development Education, Education Policy and Leadership, Evaluation Studies, Higher Education, or Human Resource Development.
• Prepare course materials including syllabus.
• Grade student work including exams, papers, presentations, and final exams; submit grades.
• Other duties as assigned.
