Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate degree (MBA, MSA, DBA or PhD) from an accredited university; professional certifications encouraged.
• Prior college or university teaching experience and/or practical accounting experience.

• Willingness to coordinate with other faculty and adapt to various formats.

Overview

The Accounting & Law Division periodically seeks qualified applicants to serve as Adjunct Faculty to teach accounting courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs. As such, we accept applications on a rolling basis and review them when an opening becomes available.

The rate for this position is $8,238 per course equivalency (CE).

• Teach accounting courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Take advantage of teaching development through our Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning (CELT) and coaching from colleagues.

Requirements

• Relevant graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MSA, DBA, PhD) from an accredited university and preferably one or more professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA).
• Previous college or university teaching experience and/or practical accounting experience relevant to the course(s) being taught.
