St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin is seeking qualified instructors to teach ENGL 150 Literature and Writing and College Writing on a continuing basis.
A master’s degree (or higher) in English, rhetoric, composition, or related fields, and demonstrated experience teaching first‑year writing are required. Minimum expectations include five years of professional experience in the field with currency in the field within the last five years.
St. Norbert College, a nationally ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college, is accepting applications on a continuing basis for instructors who are qualified to teach ENGL 150 Literature and Writing and College Writing. Qualifications include a master’s degree (or higher) in English, rhetoric, composition, or related fields and demonstrated experience teaching first‑year writing.
The expectation is that individuals who teach at the undergraduate level will typically hold a master's or higher in the discipline or subfield in which they teach.
At least five years of professional experience in the field with demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
All decisions are made at the discretion of the dean. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements are not automatically accepted to teach at St. Norbert College.
