The Sonography department is part of the Henrietta Schmoll Schoolof Health Sciences (HSSHS). The Sonography Department at St.Catherine University is one of only two universities in the UpperMidwest to offer a Bachelor of Science degree in sonography. St.Catherine University specializes in educating health careprofessionals and has an outstanding reputation in the healthcarecommunity as the metro area's leading healthcare educator. TheSonography Program also has an extensive clinical network wherestudents will gain training in real-world environments. With 19 degree programs and approximately 100 faculty, the HSSHS isthe largest of St. Kate's three schools. Degrees are offered tostudents at all levels, from the associate to the doctoral level.The school is distinguished by programs' shared focus on ecologicalapproaches to health, intercultural competency, andinterprofessional collaboration. The Institute of Simulation andInterprofessional Learning (I-SAIL) provides resources andexpertise to support the development and implementation ofhigh-impact educational activities within HSSHS and the School ofNursing.
Applicants are asked to identify courses of interest in their coverletter. The Sonography Department will review applications as theyare received. Applicants need to apply by August 7th for consideration to teach fall courses and by December 1st for consideration to teach spring courses.
Compensation: $5,150 per course
The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of whatwe reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on marketdata and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actualcompensation will be determined based on qualifications,experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherinereserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending onUniversity needs.
