Job summary

The Department of Radiation Sciences welcomes you! We offer B.S. in Clinical Radiation Sciences with concentrations in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiation Therapy, Radiography, and Diagnostic Medical Sonography. As Virginia's only B.S. program with content specific to all modalities, you have the opportunity to prepare for the technical and professional demandsof the 21st century.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Preparing and delivering lectures in personand online (asneeded).
  • Preparing, assigning, and grading homework/classwork andexams/quizzes.
  • Holding office hours and answering student questions.
  • Utilize Canvas as the learning system.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate degree and certification by any of the following: ARRT, NMTCB, ARDMS.
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environmentof professionalism, respect, and civility with a population offaculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences,or a commitment to do so as an adjunct faculty member at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of relevant academic experience.
Salary Range

$4,000+ (commensurate with experience)
