Job summary

Kentucky Christian University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach in-person Fundamentals of Speech/Public Speaking. The adjunct will report to the Dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences and will contribute to developing and evaluating course content.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching field and the ability to guide students, work collaboratively with faculty, and be available outside classroom hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in teaching field.
• Ability to teach and evaluate students in assigned course(s).
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to institutional policies.

Responsibilities

• Teach, guide, and evaluate students enrolled in the course(s).
• Assist in developing and revising course content to ensure educational quality.
• Collaborate with faculty and the Dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences.
• Be available outside class to address student questions and concerns.
• Advise the School of Humanities and Sciences to improve quality.
• Follow all policies in the Faculty Handbook.
