Position Summary

The University seeks adjunct faculty members in psychology. This pool position may or may not have openings; applications remain active for two years.

Essential Functions

• Teach classes as assigned from the regular psychology program curriculum.
• Prepare syllabi and deliver curriculum appropriate for the course assigned.
• Appropriately respond to student needs and feedback.
• Assess the course learning outcomes.
• Foster an inclusive educational environment to serve all learners.
• Maintain student attendance records in accordance with university policy.
• Submit mid‑term and final grades on time.
• Advise and/or mentor students through electronic communications and other appropriate methods.
• Complete all required training, including training on Engage LMS.

Requirements

• Candidates should have a master’s level degree or above in psychology or a bachelor’s in psychology AND a master’s or above in counseling, sociology, or social work.
• Affinity with the mission of the University of Saint Mary.
