Job summary

Bryant & Stratton College in Rochester invites qualified instructors to join a career-focused, private nonprofit college that serves students, alumni, associates, employers, and the community.

You will teach between 3 and 14 contact hours per week in biology/health disciplines, participate in curriculum monitoring, and support student learning through authentic assessment and portfolios. Compensation is $666 per contact hour, with an estimated $2,000–$4,000 salary range for typical loads.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in biology or related field (or MD/DO) as required.
• Ability to teach 3–14 contact hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction between 3 and 14 contact hours per week.
• Maintain one Skills Assistance contact hour per five instructional hours.
• Maintain one Administrative contact hour per five instructional hours.
• Maintain a current knowledge of teaching discipline/field of study.
• Participate in curriculum monitoring and development process.
• Attend required College functions including staff meetings, in service training, graduation, and special activities.
• Utilize active learning and portfolio assignments to support outcomes.
• Adhere to and uphold all policies and procedures.
