Appointments are temporary and made on a course-by-course basis for fall, spring, or summer terms. Courses may be offered in face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats.
Placement in the adjunct pool does not guarantee an interview, course assignment, or continued employment. Assignments are based on enrollment, funding, scheduling, departmental needs, qualifications, and satisfactory performance.
For selected applied or specialized courses, significant professional experience, licensure, certification, or other relevant credentials may be considered in accordance with University credentialing standards.
Adjunct appointments are temporary part‑time and course‑based with no guarantee of continued employment. Compensation is set per course. Assignments depend on enrollment, funding and performance.
