Position Summary
Teach Physics lecture and laboratory courses at the college level. Courses may be seated, blended, hybrid, or online. Teaching may occur day or evening, depending on need.
Duties
- Teach college-level Physics lecture and laboratory courses across various formats.
- Use Moodle as the learning management system to conduct the class and record grades.
- For seated and hybrid courses, maintain lab safety and supervise students in classroom and lab settings.
- Maintain accurate records and grade student work in a timely manner; submit end-of-semester grades.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in Physics or in a related area with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Physics.
Preferred Qualifications
- College teaching experience, including teaching assistant experience.
- Familiarity with a learning management system such as Moodle.

- If selected, submit official sealed transcripts from an accredited institution or official transcript evaluation (required for foreign degrees). Transcripts must be received at least two business weeks before the first day of work.
- Salary: $35.85 to $38.30 per contact hour in 2025, depending on degree.
- Contract Length: N/A. Employment Category: Adjunct. Expected Work Schedule: Variable (1-2 days or evenings per week).
