Maintains college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.Work schedule varies according to teaching assignment.VariesWhat an Adjunct Instructor’s Day looks like:Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices. This activity includes developing and maintaining manuals regarding the College's policies, procedures, rules, and standards.Analyzes class and program needs of the College. Determines and recommends the retention or deletion of courses.Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates. Maintains calendar as necessary to track these schedules and adjusts as required.Assist students and program curriculum, program and course reviews, and articulation activities.We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and demonstrated experience in clinical practice as a registered nurse or Master’s degree in Nursing, or Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Nursing, and Current State of Florida licensure as a Registered Nurse or higher, and current 2-year CPR BLS certification through the American Heart Association.Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and on multiple campuses if needed.Occupational experience required and teaching experience recognized.Ability to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom; must be able to use the technology required for the assigned course.
