Minimum requirements include an Associate degree or higher, Instructor I–III certification, and state certification in the discipline.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher required.
• Instructor I, II or III certification.
• State certification in the discipline (to teach Building Construction, Fire Officer I or Fire Safety Inspector I).

Responsibilities

• Instructs college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques.
• Develops discipline-related curricula and assesses student learning.
• Participates in program evaluation and college activities.
