Job summary

About This Role

Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. Develop discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and college activities. Maintain college and department standards in support of the College’s mission and strategic plan.

Work schedule varies according to teaching assignment.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in applied Linguistics, Bilingual Education, Multicultural Studies, English, Communications, Foreign Language, Reading, TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) or Bachelor’s degree in any field and a minimum of 9 graduate semester hours in TESOL or Applied Linguistics or Reading.

Transcripts for Adjunct positions must either be an official copy or a college-stamped student copy or a non-web-based unofficial transcript, scanned into an electronic format and attached to their application. Transcripts produced through web-based student systems will not be accepted.
