General Job Brief:

The Adjunct Professor will instruct BIB131 Discipleship I . Instructors are responsible for the preparation and deliveryofallcoursematerialsincludingthesyllabus,lecture,andothercoursedeliverypreparation,as well as keeping attendance records.

This role also requires a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the unique Christian missionandvisionofACUtoTransformCulturewithTruth,andtheabilitytoadvancethatmissionand vision through classroom instruction and person-to-person mentorship and discipleship.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
  • Applicantsmust possessa master’sor Ph.D.degree withan emphasisin Bible, Theology, or Christian Ministries OR have a pastoral recommendation from their home church indicating the ability and experience in leading a small group.

  • Demonstrated alignment with and enthusiastic support for the Christian Mission and Core Commitments of the University, including signing the University's Statement of Faith and Core Commitments annually.
