Job summary

The University System of New Hampshire invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in the English Department to teach Creative Writing and to lead ENGL 625A: Intermediate Fiction Workshop: Screenwriting in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will bring experience in creative writing and screenwriting and will teach one section of ENGL 625A during the 2026 fall term.

Responsibilities include teaching one course per semester, conducting office hours, and providing student feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching creative writing or screenwriting in an academic setting.
• Classroom teaching experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead a course and provide student feedback.

Responsibilities

• Teach one section of ENGL 625A 'Intermediate Fiction Writing: Screenwriting' during Fall 2026 (Aug 31–Dec 14).
• Hold office hours for student feedback meetings and advising as needed; contribute to department and university service.
