Job description

Location: St. Louis, MO (remote work considered for candidates who meet institutional requirements)

The CACREP- Accredited Counselor Education Department at Missouri Baptist University seeks nominees and applicants for Adjunct Instructors in the areas of School or Clinical Mental Health Counseling to teach master’s-level core counseling courses across various delivery platforms, including in-person on MBU’s main campus, online (asynchronous), and/or livestream.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s in counseling (CACREP accredited master’ preferred) and five years post‑master’s experience in a clinical or school counseling setting.
  • Candidates must hold or be eligible for licensure as a mental health counselor or school counselor.
  • Strong counselor identity, including scholarship, service, and experience in the field of counseling.
  • Experience teaching in higher education preferred.
  • Candidates must embrace a student‑centered approach and have a passion for serving students.
