The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking part-time, temporary faculty members for the Department of Communication and Journalism, for courses such as Public Speaking and Public Relations, starting fall 2026 or spring 2027. Candidates must have a Master's degree in Communication or Journalism and prefer those with teaching experience. Formación

• Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism or a closely related field.
• Academic preparation adequate for the courses to be taught.
• At least two years' college teaching experience preferred.
• For journalism instructors: at least two years’ experience working in the field.

Responsabilidades

• Develop syllabus and lesson plans aligned with departmental expectations.
• Participate in office hours and correspondence with students.
• Conduct course coordination meetings with other faculty members.
