Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville seeks an Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry to provide quality instruction in classroom and laboratory settings, maintaining a positive learning environment. The position is on-site and not remote, with an emphasis on teaching and evaluating students in lectures and labs.
Responsibilities include planning and teaching courses, supervising student activities, submitting grades, and maintaining office hours.
Adjunct Instructor – Chemistry
To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students in the classroom and laboratories.
School of Sciences and Nursing
Faculty should be able to teach courses on campus and attend required meetings. Online courses may be a possibility, but this is not a remote position.
Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the Chemistry teaching field
