Crouse Hospital College of Nursing seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach per diem. The role requires teaching nursing students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings with regular interaction with program leadership.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Nursing and NYS RN licensure with CPR, plus three years of recent clinical experience. Per diem status offers flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay.

Crouse’s Pomeroy College of Nursing is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The collegeoffers a two-year associate’s degree in applied science with a major in Nursing. The College of Nursing team is hiring an Adjunct Instructor to work per diem.

Pay Range: $51.94 / hour

Adjunct Instructor Position Responsibilities:

• Provides instruction for students enrolled in the Crouse Hospital College of Nursing
• Evaluatesstudents in aclassroom, laboratory and/or clinical setting.
• Adjunct faculty are expected to maintain regular, pre-planned contact with the semester chairs and/or nursing laboratory manager.

Adjunct Instructor Position Requirements:

• ABachelor's Degree in nursing is required; a Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• If a Master's Degree is not held at the time of hire, the applicant must be enrolled in a Master’s degree in nursing program with a degree completion plan in place upon hire.
• Must hold current NYS licensure as aRegistered Nurse and current CPR certification.
• Three years of recent clinical experience required.
• Prior experience in teaching or precepting students preferred.
