Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage in instructional activity totaling no more than 18 contact hours per academic year.
• Writing syllabi and grading coursework within timelines.
• Maintain competence in subjects being taught.

Skills

Knowledge of philosophy, ethics, logic, reasoning and critical thinking

Ability to instruct students of varying preparation and abilities

Excellent interpersonal and cultural competency skills

Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Ability to assess student performance

Education

Master’s degree in Philosophy

Ph.D. degree preferred
