Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a related field or Master's Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in a related field.
• Minimum of one-year full-time teaching experience, or the equivalent as an adjunct instructor. Higher education teaching experience preferred.
• Special Skills: strong background in pedagogy, teaching experience equivalent to two years; excellent organizational, office, and communication skills; ability to research and analyze data; work independently toward goals.
• Welcoming, innovative, and focus on student success; commitment to working with students, employees, and community members of diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to sustainability and ecological responsibility aligned with the college's values.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) or conversational abilities preferred.

Aufgaben

• Teach classes as assigned by the supervisor.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with approved course objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi to the supervisor.
• Assist in development of measurable course objectives and plans.
• Develop professional relationships with students and staff to foster communication.
• Maintain accurate course records and complete course forms as required.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Assist in recruitment of students where appropriate.
• Assist in evaluation of curriculum and instructional performance.
• Represent the college professionally in the community and college district.
• Engage in professional development as required for credentialing.
