Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences is seeking a faculty member to teach a broad set of Health Science courses for undergraduates and graduates, including numerous HPEX and HEMS options.

The role encompasses delivering high-quality instruction, engaging diverse learners, and collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to advance curriculum and student success at VCU.

Qualifications

• Earned Master’s Degree in Health Science or related field for undergraduate course.
• Earned Doctoral Degree in Health Science or related field for graduate course.
• Competence in teaching undergraduate/graduate courses in content areas listed above.
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Health Science courses and graduate courses as listed in the program.
• Deliver course content across HPEX, HEMS and related subjects.
• Contribute to curriculum development and student mentoring.
