The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is seeking qualified Christian adjunct faculty to teach COMM 1320 – Public Speaking for the Fall 2026 semester. This part-time position requires teaching in-person classes from 8 am to 5 pm.

Applicants must hold a master’s degree with at least 18 hours in Mass-Communication coursework, and teaching experience is preferred. A commitment to the University’s mission and local church participation is essential.

Job description

This is a part-time, Adjunct Faculty position.

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian adjunct faculty to teach in-person day classes (range between 8 am to 5 pm) in COMM 1320 – Public Speaking for the Fall 2026 semester.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be an active, committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
• A master’s degree with at least 18 hours of Mass-Communication coursework is required.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Must reside in Texas.
• Must agree to the University’s Employee Statement of Understanding.
