This course examines basic communication principles and strategies of public speaking.Candidates should have experience teaching outlining, basic research techniques, general communication theory and platform skills.This course counts towards the fulfillment of the Essential Competencies element of the College of Arts and Sciences general education curriculum.
The class meets IN-PERSON on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10:20-11:20 a.m.
M.A. or higher in Communication Studies or related field.
Experience in teaching Speech Communication at the college level.
Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Communication Studies or related field.
