Cleveland State Community College invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty Pool – Religion. Instructors will teach in on-ground and online formats, plan and assess courses, and communicate with students regularly.
Responsibilities include grading, reporting, and meeting deadlines in a supportive academic environment.

Instructors provide quality instruction for student learning and maintain a positive learning environment in the class. The major emphasis for instructors is on teaching and evaluating students in the course. Classes are taught in a variety of formats and at several different locations, as well as online. Instructors also communicate with students between classes and are responsible for several administrative duties such as reporting on academic activity and submitting final grades.
Applicants should indicate in their cover letter whether they are interested and available for on-ground, online, or both teaching formats.
A Master’s degree in Religious Studies or Humanities from a regionally accredited institution or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of related qualifying fields. Three years teaching experience preferred. Experience with alternative delivery instructional modes recommended – hybrid, online, interactive, etc.
