Position Summary: The Department of Psychology at the University of Denver is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, such as Introduction to Clinical Psychology, Introduction to Cognitive Neuroscience, Introduction to Social Psychology, Introduction to Statistics, Adult Psychopathology, Child and Lifespan Development, Child Psychopathology, Clinical Psychology, Motivation and Emotion, Research Design and Inference, Research Methods, and special-topics courses.

Essential Functions
  • Teaching (generally in-person) twice a week
  • Holding office hours
  • Assigning papers and exams as appropriate
  • Being available to assist students with assignments
Required Qualifications
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Ability to teach at the university level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Psychology
Course Rate

The current rate of pay is $5160 per four credit course in academic year 2026-2027.
