Adjunct Faculty - Political Science

Overview

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities seeks applicants to teach in‑person undergraduate courses on the Oakland Campus in the fields of International Relations, Comparative Politics, American Politics, Political Theory, or Public Policy. Start dates are in January and September. Positions are available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.

Responsibilities

• Teach in‑person courses according to demand on the Oakland Campus, covering the specified political science fields.

Qualifications

• PhD or ABD preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in political science or a closely related field (e.g., public policy) preferred.

Pay Range: The rate per credit is $2,387.03.
