Job summary

About the Opportunity

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and its nine tenure units are the home of the Experiential Liberal Arts. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe. The Department of Political Science in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities seeks applicants to teach in-person undergraduate courses on the Oakland Campus in one or more of the following fields: International Relations, Comparative Politics, American Politics, Political Theory, or Public Policy. Start dates in January and September. Stipend rates per course. Positions are available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.


Responsibilities

Teach in-person courses according to demand on the Oakland Campus.


Qualifications

PhD or ABD preferred. Prior teaching experience in political science or a closely related field (e.g. public policy) preferred.
