Job summary

Middlesex College seeks part-time Adjunct Faculty in the Natural Sciences to teach courses including General Biology I & II, General Chemistry, General Physics, Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II, Introduction to Geology, Organic Chemistry, and Principles of Microbiology.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in the subject or related discipline and have experience teaching adult learners; remote teaching experience is preferred but not required.

The Natural Sciences department at Middlesex College invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty Members to teach the following subjects:

• General Biology I and II


• General Chemistry


• General Physics


• Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II


• Introduction to Geology


• Organic Chemistry


• Principles of Microbiology

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in the subject or a related discipline


• Experience teaching adult learners


• Subject matter expertise

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a remote environment


• Familiarity with Canvas


• Experience teaching in higher education
