Chaminade University of Honolulu seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach courses in the Masters and Doctor Marriage and Family Therapy programs. You will support students from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, and report to the Dean of the School of Education and Behavior Sciences.
The role involves teaching both in-person and online formats, curriculum involvement, advising, and university service on a part-time, exempt basis.

The Adjunct Instructor will primarily teach courses in the Masters and Doctor Marriage and Family Therapy programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering student learning and supporting students from diverse backgrounds, including those traditionally underrepresented in higher education.

Duties involve light work in an office and community setting and requires a minimum of physical effort with intermittent sitting, standing, climbing stairs, and walking inclines. Must be able to lift 2 0 pounds, walk the campus with ease, and have excellent motor skills. Must be able to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand.
