• Plan an optimal learning environment to improve student success.
• Provide high quality instruction and advising.
• Develop learning outcomes and assess students and teaching practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
• Maintain accurate attendance records, submit grades, and provide feedback.
• Develop curriculum in line with college policies and rigorous instruction.
• Use real-life contexts to develop critical thinking and teamwork.
• Collaborate to align outcomes with THECB core curriculum and TSC objectives.
• Design assessments to measure student growth and align with learning opportunities.
• Revise curricula based on outcomes and evaluation results.
• Support SOAPs and participate in evaluations.
• Create a positive classroom environment encouraging collaboration.
• Be available to students during designated work period.
• Refer students to college support services.
• Pursue professional development and maintain credentials and CE hours.
• Participate in adjunct faculty activities.
• Attend regularly and follow schedule.
• Coordinate with coworkers and supervisors using interpersonal skills.
• Support strategic plan and institutional goals.
• Complete duties per institutional effectiveness model.
• Promote morale and provide exceptional customer service.
• Communicate problems, data, facts, and present information to groups.
• Work in a high-tech digital environment.
• Complete required training and professional development.
• Hours may include evenings/weekends depending on deadlines.
