Job summary

Endicott College is seeking an instructor for CJ410: Law and Society. The course meets in-person on M/W/F 9:00–9:50 am with a three-hour weekly total, January 25 to May 14, 2027. Compensation is $4,700 per course, with expectations to use Canvas and uphold college policies.

Courses are taught on campus in Beverly, MA, with access to commuter rail and free parking. Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree and have college teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master’s degree is required, and college-level teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the course in person in their assigned time blocks.
• Abide by Endicott’s academic policies as described in the College’s faculty handbook.
• Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course.
• Use Canvas as the course’s learning management system.
• Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.
• Communicate with the dean or other administrators if issues arise concerning the teaching of specific classes.
• Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter, if requested.
• Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes.
• Use the Endicott email when communicating with students outside of class.
