Ivy Tech Community College is seeking part-time Adjunct Faculty in Information Technology to deliver classes and support student success. You will develop syllabi, assessments, and learning activities while maintaining accurate records and aligning with department objectives.
The role emphasizes student engagement, professional collaboration, and adherence to FERPA and campus policies, with duties defined by current IT curriculum standards.
GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION: Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided.
This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with this position may be assigned. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction and meet faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction. Conducts all activities with an appreciation, respect for all students and employees.
A qualified adjunct faculty member meets one of the following routes:
Holds an earned master’s or higher from a regionally accredited institution in information technology, information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, software development, cloud technologies, data analytics, or a closely related field;
Holds an earned master’s degree in another discipline with 18 graduate semester hours (or equivalent) of IT-related coursework beyond the introductory level;
Holds an earned master’s degree in another discipline and demonstrates two or more of the following:

Holds an earned bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in IT, IS, CS, cybersecurity, software, cloud, data, or a closely related field and demonstrates two or more of the following:
