The University of Pittsburgh School of Law (Pitt Law) seeks part-time Adjunct Faculty to teach in the online Master of Studies in Law (MSL) program beginning in summer 2026 and academic year 2026-2027.

Instructors will provide detailed feedback, grade assignments, tests, and exams, and use Canvas or similar LMS along with Outlook, Word, and Zoom to support student success in an online environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience practicing or teaching law.
• At least 3 years of experience in the subject matter of the course for which they are engaged.
• Experience using Canvas or a similar learning management system and skill at online interaction.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Zoom.

Minimum Qualifications For Course Instructors

Salary

$1,000 per week of course instruction for an 8-week course, with a minimum of $5,333 for a 5-week course. he School of Law reserves the right not to offer the course in that term if fewer than 8 students are enrolled. In such a case, you retain your faculty position, but no compensation will be paid.
