Full Sail University’s Instructional Design and Technology Master of Science program provides students with a hands-on, project-based experience focused on research, learning theories, curriculum development, instructional design processes, and media asset creation. Students develop, design, and produce engaging instructional content using a variety of software applications for corporate training and academic environments as they simultaneously develop their writing, time management, and team-building skills. Candidates for this position must be well-versed in graphic design, writing, and instructional design theories and practice. Professional experience in creating interactive media, podcasts, instructional video, and educational games is preferred. This position is part time working no more than 20 hours per week, online and must be resident in the state of Florida.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years related and verifiable work experience in instructional design for corporate training environments and electronic media asset creation with a focus on visual design and writing for instruction. A Doctorate degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development or Higher Education is required or a related terminal degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in an appropriate combination from the following subject areas: Education, Instructional Design, Communication Design, and Training and Development.
Association for Talent Development certification or being a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance preferred.
Work is performed in an office and classroom environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active student and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to; bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
