Job summary

Bluegrass Community & Technical College invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty in Industrial Maintenance Technology at the Georgetown and Danville campuses. You will teach up to 15 credit hours per semester, covering Electrical Theory and Concepts, Electric Motor Controls, PLCs, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Maintaining Industrial Equipment, and Robotics with on-site labs and occasional online materials.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• OR an Associate degree or higher in any field with 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Preferred: Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology with 4 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, online, and laboratory instruction related to Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance Curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans and syllabi, maintain records, and report student attainment and progress.
• Participation in Adjunct Faculty Professional Development Activities
• Commitment to teamwork
• Set example of appropriate dress and professional behaviors for students
• Enforce high expectations related to safety, student dress, and professional behaviors including punctuality
• Maintain order and discipline in the teaching/learning environment

Job Summary

To teach up to 15 credit hours per semester at the BCTC Georgetown campus and/or BCTC Danville campus. Instruction would be in any of the following areas relative to the Industrial Maintenance Technology Curriculum: Electrical Theory and Concepts, Electric Motor Controls, Programmable Logic Controllers, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Maintaining Industrial Equipment, Robotics. Applicants should possess excellent computer, communication, and presentation skills to develop and deliver on-site and online program-related material along with in-person laboratory experiences.
