Job summary

College of the Ozarks seeks applicants for a part-time Adjunct Faculty position in the Department of Applied Nutrition. The successful candidate will develop and teach undergraduate nutrition courses based on credentials and expertise, with potential areas including food production, cultural foods, foodservice management, sports nutrition, or community nutrition. Candidates should hold an M.S.

in nutrition, food science, or a related area, or be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• MS in nutrition, food science, or related area or RD credential.
• PhD preferred; undergraduate teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach undergraduate nutrition courses.
• Teach courses in potential areas: food production, cultural foods, foodservice management, sports nutrition, or community nutrition.
• Mentor undergraduate students and model Christian faith.
• Support the College's Christ-centered mission in teaching and service.

Adjunct Faculty in Applied Nutrition

College of the Ozarks seeks applicants for part-time faculty position in the department of Applied Nutrition.

Primary responsibilities for this position are developing and teaching undergraduate nutrition courses based on the candidate’s credentials and expertise (potential areas include food production, cultural foods, foodservice management, sports nutrition, or community nutrition).

Candidates should hold an M.S. in nutrition, food science, or a related area, or be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian. A Ph.D. is preferred, as is undergraduate teaching experience.
