Job summary

Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part-time adjunct teaching positions in History. Positions will primarily teach in-person on our main campus in Wingate, NC, with rolling applications and regular on-campus attendance. Ideal candidates hold a master’s degree or higher in a related discipline and have college teaching experience. Experience with Google Workspace and Canvas is preferred.

Position Summary

Duties/Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in the History discipline
• Regular, predictable attendance on campus(for in-person classes)
• Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap
• Other jobduties/responsibilitiesmay be assigned

Education and Experience

Ideal candidates will have a master’s degreeor higher in a relateddiscipline and college teaching experience. Experience with Google Workspace applications and Canvas preferred.
