Job summary

The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga invites applications for part-time faculty in the Art Department. Instructors will teach courses across Painting & Drawing, Sculpture, Design, Photography, Foundations, and Art Education, delivering engaging, student-centered instruction.

Responsibilities include preparing course plans, delivering lectures, advising students, recording grades, and collaborating with full-time faculty to maintain consistency and quality across sections.

Qualifications

• Instructors with an MFA degree in the relevant discipline with at least two (2) years of teaching experience preferred.
• This is a part-time, temporary position that may require day, evening and/or weekend availability.

Description

The Department of Art at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is seeking part time faculty to teach courses in a variety of visual arts disciplines:

• Painting and Drawing

• Design (Graphic Design, Interactive Design, UX and UI Design)
• Photography (Analog and Digital)
• Foundations
• Art Education
