The role requires delivering engaging instruction, assessing student work, and providing timely support while adhering to college policies. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in fire science and relevant certification, with experience in live-fire and NFPA guidelines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in fire science or related field.
• ACI Fire Instructor II Certification (TN Fire Commission) for Introduction to Fire and Emergency Services and Basic Firefighting.
• Completion of the TN Fire Commission FO120-Conducting Live Fire Evolutions Class.
• Familiar with IAFC/NFPS 1010 requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in fire science or a related field.
• Hold a valid, Tennessee Fire Commission -Fire Instructor II Certification Academy Credentialed Instructor (ACI) in Introduction to Fire and Emergency Services and Basic Firefighting.
• Successful completion of the TN Fire Commission FO120-Conducting Live Fire Evolutions Class.
• Be familiar with IAFC/NFPS 1010.

• Physical ability to demonstrate or supervise fire service skills.
• Use of personal protective equipment during training evolutions.
