Job summary

About the Position

The Education Department at Keene State College is seeking a qualified applicant to teach Elementary Methods II (EDUC-322) for the fall 2026 semester. This part‑time, non‑benefited position requires availability to teach in‑person during the day (Monday, Wednesday 8am–3pm; Friday 8am–12pm) and to support KSC students at local elementary schools during some Monday and Wednesday sessions.

Location: Keene, NH.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver course content for credit courses (45% of time)
• Prepare lesson plans and course materials
• Assess student learning; assign grades; refer students to support services
• Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students (5% of time)
• Abide with USNH and KSC policies and participate in department/unit meetings (50% of time)

Qualifications

• Earned Master’s degree in Education or related field by August12026
• Minimum of five years full‑time teaching experience in public elementary schools (K‑6)

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in math and science content and pedagogy
• Experience teaching in an inclusive environment with diverse student populations (SES, IEPs/504 plans, ELL, cultural and racial/ethnic diversity)
• College teaching experience
• Supervision experience

Compensation

Pay Range: $800 per credit, or $840 per credit for those with terminal degrees.
